With their latest album, a reggae infusion of the Beatle’s St. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, the Easy Star All Stars continue their successful application of the offbeat to classic albums with a style and approach all their own.

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band is an intelligent, fun and witty reggae infusion into the Beatles album 

 

by the same name.  Some of reggae’s top vocalists -- Luciano, Sugar Minott, and Michael Rose to name a few -- peppered throughout the album gives a dynamic flow that helped defined its predecessor.  

A pleasurable listen from start to finish, the selection of the Beatles  as the follow up to the “Dub Side of the Moon,” the Easy Stars critically acclaimed interpretation of Pink Floyd which helped solidify their name throughout fans of multiple genres, and Radiodread serves notice creativity knows no challenges.  Potentially polarizing, given the rabid nature of the Beatles fan base, the Easy Stars open the imagination as to what they may be thinking next.
